I'm a tobacco smoker by free and deliberate choice, because I enjoy smoking tobacco. If I did not enjoy smoking, I would not smoke. I am no more an addict than somebody who loves to eat brussel sprouts.
I have an e-cig too, which I enjoy 'vaping', for those times when I cannot enjoy my tobacco cigarettes.
It was bad enough being hunted and persecuted by the original anti-tobacco people, but, for years now I've had to suffer double that same persecution by the anti-tobacco/pro-ecig Vapourites too. I have to laugh-and-cry out loud though that both those groups who both hate tobacco smokers, also hate each other almost as much as they hate tobacco smokers. The anti-tobacco/anti-ecigers who claim the 4,000 chemicals in tobacco kill everybody exposed to those chemicals instantly, also claim ecigs are equal instant killers even though 3,999 of the chemicals in tobacco are totally absent from ecigs.The anti-tobacco/pro-ecigers claim the same thing about tobacco even though there are over 1 billion tobacco smokers, and all those who get exposed to our tobacco smoke, who somehow refuse to drop dead.
Why all this hatred ?
All this hatred is not good for the soul, and ergo, nor for societies.
Isn't there far too much of it already on this sorry planet ?
It all boils down to money.
One group gets it's money from Big Pharma who make anti-tobacco products that
don't work and kill people. The other group wants the money they'll make from
getting all the tobacco smokers to switch to ecigs. So, we tobacco smokers all
become the targets of a lot of fear and hatred from the other two groups that
has no basis in facts, that's tearing our societies to ribbons. Aren't there far
more important real problems that need fixing fast - instead of hating and
persecuting underdog tobacco smokers who can't fight back ?
I am a live-and-let-live kind of person.
You wanna not smoke tobacco ? And, You do wanna vape ecigs ?
Fine by me.
I solemnly promise on my Honour as a former Boy-Scout (three
fingers scout salute),
I won't hunt you down and persecute you for it.
I expect merely to be treated the same way.
